Djurwa supports Combined Countries in Koori Knockout

Congratulations to everyone involved in last weeks 51st Koori Knockout held in Tuggerah!

DJURWA was proud to have sponsored Combined Countries, a team that represent the South West Sydney region.  

Every October long weekend teams from all over NSW battle it out and show amazing skills and talent. It is an opportunity for Aboriginal rugby league players to play against and with other Aboriginal players and NRL stars from different communities, living in regional and city areas.  

This year was the 51st Year of the NSW Koori Knockout and there were teams from u13s, u15s, u17s boys and girls, women and men’s teams from all across NSW. In a draw of 64 teams Combined Countries made it through to game 3 making it in the top 16 teams.  

This year was extra special for Combined Countries as the club saw four father and sons take the paddock for the first time in the club’s history.
