Djurwa supports ReLove charity dinner

The Djurwa team was honoured to attend the inaugural ReLove Annual Charity dinner

The Djurwa team was honoured to attend the inaugural ReLove Annual Charity dinner last night held at The Eveleigh in Sydney.

ReLove is a registered charity supporting women and children impacted by domestic violence, people experiencing homelessness, men and women coming out of incarceration, and people seeking asylum.

ReLove has helped a number of BINGO’s Indigenous staff by helping them furnish their homes with second-hand – or “re-loved” – furniture.

A heartfelt Acknowledgement of Country was delivered by Djurwa’s Indigenous Engagement Manager Natalie (Nanii) Davies which set the tone of the night of unity and giving back.

Natalie also generously donated a stunning painting titled “Rockpool Reflections at Night” which was auctioned off on the evening and raised $4,000!

Djurwa Directors Sean Wilson and Yeena Kirkbright were joined on their table by Matthew Lonergan and Vy Tran from Movers Against Domestic Violence, together with other members of their team including Executive Assistant Amanda Borg, Control Room Operator Jalissa, Yalagan’s  Pavla Wilson and BINGO’s Head of Customer Experience Deborah Dolan.

Djurwa was proud to take part in this wonderful evening that raised almost $300,000 for this incredibly worthwhile cause.
