The Djurwa team this week attended an early morning boxing session with Tribal Warrior at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence in Redfern.

Djurwa Managing Director, Nathan Martin, knows from experience that Tribal Warrior’s programs, including “Never Going Back” and “Clean Slate Without Prejudice”, have the capacity to genuinely change people’s lives for the better – particularly Indigenous youth.

Nathan credits his success to date – including the establishment of Yalagan Group and Djurwa - in large part to his experience at Tribal Warrior.

A huge thanks to Uncle Shane Phillips and his dedicated team (especially Uncle Burt Gordon and champion MMA fighter Josh Togo) for making us feel so welcome. You’re doing amazing work!

It was fantastic also to see NSW Shadow Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education and Member for Albury Justin Clancy there too, working on his jabs and uppercuts and seeing first-hand the great work Tribal Warrior does.
